Who we are
50 Years as a Top American Restaurant in Wilson NC
For over 50 years, Bill’s Grill has been a beloved American restaurant in Wilson, NC, proudly serving generations of families with home-cooked meals made from cherished recipes. Our journey began with founder Bill Hayes, who envisioned a place where the community could come together over hearty, flavorful dishes. His vision was simple yet powerful: to create a family-friendly restaurant that celebrated classic American dining with a personal touch.
In 2006, Randy Jenkins took over the restaurant, bringing with him a renewed dedication to quality and community spirit. The Jenkins family has since continued the legacy that Bill Hayes began, making Bill’s Grill not just a restaurant, but a staple in the Wilson, NC community. By 2016, Randy’s son, Will, expanded our reach by opening a second location, Bill’s Grill on Nash, and later, a third location on S. Caswell in La Grange.
